Trent Hindman: “I’d say we’re very pleased with the 2nd place qualifying effort. We’ve worked very hard to make the car competitive since the first test session on Wednesday and I’m glad to see that all of the hard work has paid off. As always I think the Fall-Line guys have given us a great car for the race tomorrow and I have zero doubts that we’ll be running right up front. A big thank you to our partners Trim-Tex, Cirocco & Ozzimo, Atlas Acon, and DFL Interiors. Really looking forward to getting it done tomorrow!“
Andrew Longe joins Shelby Blackstock this weekend and will be co-driving with him for five of the remaining six races. Longe, from Naples, Florida, has been racing with Fall-Line and in 2013 her competed in Regional, National, and endurance SCCA events in both a Porsche 911 and a BMW M3. In addition to racing, he is a full time college student at Elon University majoring in Finance and Economics with a minor in Business Management.

Andrew Longe: “I am very happy with our qualifying result in my first ever qualifying session in the Continental Tire Sports Car Series here at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park. I believe our BMW M3 will be great for the race tomorrow and we are looking forward to a strong finish. Ryan (engineer) and Shelby and the Fall-Line team worked countless hours to help me get acclimated to the car and track after experiencing them both for the first time on Wednesday morning. We have a strong racecar and these are long races in which keeping your nose clean is crucial. I’m really looking forward to my first CTSC race!”
Michael Harvey, Fall-Line Motorsports Team Manager: “Another great day for the Fall-Line Motorsports BMWs, Trent did a very polished job today to put the #46 car in position to contend for the win. I am happy to welcome Andrew to our program and he also did a solid job today, moving up from our club program is an awfully big step which he has handled very well so far and Shelby has been a huge help for Andrew as we look forward to the race tomorrow.”
Tune in at 1:15p ET tomorrow, July 12 to imsa.com for a live stream of the race.
