November 12, 2014 – Sonoma, California

Flying Lizard Motorsports will kick off the new year with a two-car entry for the first race of the TUDOR United Sportscar Championship series, the Rolex 24 at Daytona. In just under two months, the team will again find itself at Daytona International Speedway for the 3-day Roar Before the Rolex 24 test from January 9th to 11th, then return just 10 days later for TUDOR’s flagship and season opening 24-hour race, from January 22nd to 25th, 2015. The team will enter its No. 35 and No. 45 Audi R8 LMS race cars in the GT Daytona class, returning to the site of its epic 2014 battle for the class win, which eventually resulted in 2nd and 5th place finishes in the huge 29-car GTD field. Flying Lizard is currently working to finalize its driver lineups for each car for the Rolex 24 and interested parties are asked to contact the team directly to discuss placement and options.

The team has been working non-stop since Petit Le Mans to finalize its 2015 plans, with options in the TUDOR United Sportscar Championship, Pirelli World Challenge, the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo North America, and other series all still under analysis and consideration, but with a final decision and announcement on a full-season program and additional one-off races to come within a few weeks.
