Flying Lizard Motorsports Program Manager Darren Law will return to the broadcasting booth this month to be one of nine commentators for the 83rd 24 Hours of Le Mans.

“I am really excited to be joining the FOX team again for the broadcast of this famous event,” said Law. “No matter what, as a racer if you’re not competing in the event or if your just a fan, you’re going to be watching it and what better way to see the event than to be sharing the experience live and giving personal insight from experience with the fans on FOX Sports.”

A three-time competitor in the legendary event with Flying Lizard Motorsports, this year will mark Law’s third consecutive year working on the Le Mans broadcast team. The nine person team, led by Bob Varsha will also include Brian Till, Calvin Fish, Jamie Howe and Tommy Kendall in the booth with Justin Bell and Andrew Marriott on location in pit lane at the Circuit de la Sarthe.

“They have a talented group of broadcasters involved with the show all of whom I respect and really enjoy working with,” continued Law. “This race is amazing from so many perspectives. It always provides hard racing for 24 hours straight and if an incident happens here its dramatic, this track is so fast and it pushes the cars to the limit. This year will be fascinating with so many new cars, the battles within the different classes have been phenomenal all season so far I can’t wait to be a part of it.”

Total, 168 drivers will compete in 56 cars throughout the course of the 24 hour endurance event. Fans will be able to watch the entire event live, via FOX Sports 1, FOX Sports 2, www.foxsports.com, and FOX Sports GO, FOX’s successful smartphone app. Fans can also tweet Darren at @DLaw44, and the rest of the FOX coverage at @24HoursofLeMans #LeMans24h @FOXSports @FOXSports1.
